Spring Break

Wow, I guess I haven't posted in quite a while now. I am still alive, though hopefully nobody had any doubts to that end. The reason for my lack of posts recently is this: I took a deep breath and delved once more into the lands of fantasy and adventure that are video games. Over spring break I read two books (Improbable by Adam Fower, which is an exceptional book for any reader -- you may want to know something about physics and statistics first though, and Ender's Shadow by Orson Scott Card, which is also a great book, but it's written for ten-year olds. I still like it.), and I slept a lot, but mostly I was at my computer playing games.

They say that over use of video games is linked with depression, in that the virtual world is used as an escape from the real world. Be that as it may, I have had no life or personality affecting occurances recently to cause that malady, and I do not feel depressed (unless you count wanting to play video games).

Oh, and one last thing I did over break: I tried to make some oatmeal cookies. Now, I'm normally pretty good at baking cookies, but I've never made oatmeal ones before AND I didn't have a recipe. While the result was tasty, it stuck to the pan and had a consistancy that caused me to dub it "Apricot Crumble." (And yes, I put apricots in it.)
